My Story
Justin
Viens
Photographer. Director. One eye across every medium.
"I didn't pick up a camera to take pictures. I picked it up to stop time."
Origin
It started with a theater.
Justin grew up connected to cinema the way most people grow up connected to music — before you can name it, before you understand it, it's already part of how you see. The first time he held a camera, something locked into place. Not a hobby. Not a side project. A way of seeing that had always been there, waiting for the right instrument.
Over 10+ years, he built JarinV Studios from the ground up — a photography and film practice rooted in a single conviction: that every frame, still or moving, is a decision. Light, composition, timing, intention. None of it accidental.
The work began in portraiture. It still lives there. A portrait session with Justin doesn't feel like a photo shoot — it feels like a conversation where one person happens to be holding a camera.
Based in Dover, Delaware. Available worldwide.
The Practice
Editorial portraiture, commercial campaigns, destination photography, narrative film. The geography shifts — Dover · New York City · Los Angeles · Washington DC · Sedona · London · Greenville · Colorado — but the standard doesn't. Every project gets the same eye.
The through-line: the lens never changes. Photography is still the foundation. Every still frame is a study in light, composition, and intention. Film is the same discipline in motion. The edit — color, tone, texture — is where the work becomes something you feel before you can name it.
Beyond the lens, Justin is actively developing original screenplays and television series — long-form stories built on the same cinematic conviction that defines his visual work.
The Work
The lens never changes.
Three disciplines. One standard. Every project earns the same attention.
Still Frame
Photography is the foundation. Every portrait, every campaign image — built on light, composition, and patience. Nothing fires without intention.
Moving Frame
Film is photography in motion. The same eye, the same discipline. Different medium, same standard. A moving image that can't hold still as a photograph isn't ready.
The Edit
Post-production is where the work becomes art. Color, tone, texture — every image finished to a single visual language. The edit is not a correction. It's a commitment.
